ISO 50001 (Energy Management) is the norm with the most demand

ISO Survey 2015 confirms 3% growth. The most recent survey published on the website of the International Standards Organization (ISO) shows the numbers of certificates to management standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 50001, 27001, 22000, 13485, 22301, 20000-1 and ISO/TS 16949) issued per country.

The strongest growth has been reported in the areas of ISO 50001 (Energy Management) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity), followed by the strong performers ISO/IEC 270001 (Information Security), 22000 (Food Safety). ISO/TS 16949 (Automotive) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) continue to show strong increases, while ISO 9001 and 13485 (Medical) did not grow at all in 2015. Newest member of this elite group of statistically relevant standards is ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 for IT Service Management, part 1 of the ISO/IEC 20000 series.

The ISO Survey counts the number of certificates issued by certification bodies that have been accredited by members of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
